Austin Boxer Rescue

Our mission: To balance the health, safety, and welfare needs of canines in the Central Texas area by providing nourishment and a safe environment for unwanted, stray, abused, and impounded Boxers. Once placed in new homes they become more than just pets, they become family.

Adoption

Austin Boxer Rescue now serves ALL of the Central Texas Region which includes Austin, San Antonio, Temple, and the surrounding areas.

Austin Boxer Rescue receives dogs daily and the dog for you may not be posted on the website. ABR volunteers work hard to place the right dog with the right family and those people that have been approved will have the opportunity to meet dogs before they go onto the website. There are usually about 5-10 dogs in rescue that have not been posted.

Adoption Fees are as follows:
Boxer $250 (adult- 11 months to 5 yrs ), $300 (puppy- up to 10 months ), $400 (pairs)
Boxer Mix $150
Non-boxers $75
Senior Dogs (5 years to 8 yrs or older) are $150 to adopt
Over 8 yrs seeking permament fosters- no fee will be collected
NOTE: Adoption Fees will be determined by the organization prior to adoption and are not negotiable

Our next AUSTIN ADOPTION DAY will be Saturday, February 6th at Brown Elementary: 505 W. Anderson Lane from 9:30am-12:00pm. We can be found on the Southwest corner of the park, at the intersection of Guadalupe St and Northway Dr. - rain or shine. Map.

Adoption Day NOW in San Antonio TOO!!! Every 2nd Saturday of the month from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Petsmart Store #1953 21019 US HWY 281 San Antonio, TX 78258.
