Adoption
months' old and is black and white; he is just adorable. A good Samaritan found him wandering around the area of MOPAC and Wells Branch Parkway in Austin. She found him wandering with no collar, and he was obviously in need of food, water and medical attention. Apparently his original owners must have tried to dock his tail at around four months' old rather than at the normal 2-3 days' old. His current foster mom took him immediately to the vet for treatment. It was found he also had a rash on his tummy which turned out to be a staph infection. Because the vet wasn't happy with his condition, it was recommended his original owners try not to be located as he was obviously neglected and lived in unclean conditions. He is now safe in rescue and living with the person who found him. He is a sweet boy, but she can't keep him permanently, because she has dogs of her own. This little boy loves people and other dogs. He would love to have his own person(s) to sleep next to. It's obvious no one has ever been given him much time, as he needs work on house training and obedience commands. But he is a puppy, and with a little work and consistency, this can easily be corrected. Just look at his adorable face. Can you find it in your heart to give this guy the time, attention and discipline that he needs, and he in turn will be your Dark Knight forever?
