Unknown | My name is Pinky on the website, but my foster mom calls me Petey. In human years, I am not even one yet - I think I'm about 8-9 months old. My foster mom thinks that I am very smart. And, I am committed to doing what I need to make her keep that belief. After being here for one day, I learned how to use the doggy door. On my second day, I realized that I was supposed to use the doggy door in order to "go potty." Since then, I have gone potty outside and it makes my foster mom cheer - I like it when she's happy. There are two adult female boxers here and one of them really likes me, the other one tolerates me. I am smart and don't bother the "grumpy" one. We go for walks and I walk right beside my foster mom (unlike the grumpy one!). I like my walks because I have a lot of energy. At adoption day, I got along with all the other dogs. There is this strange furrball that lives here and I hear it's a cat. She doesn't like me or the other two, so I stay away from her. I think I would like to be a cat's friend, but this cat isn't giving me the opportunity. I am not fond of the crate, but I am working on that. At night, I sleep with the other two and I haven't gotten into anything. Since I am young, I do like to chew, so I chew on the bones and toys here. It's important to me to have toys. I need to gain some weight, but that's not a problem because I love food. I've had shots, heartworm medication, flea prevention and I've been neutered. All I need now is to have a forever family who I can please and will love me forever. Am I supposed to be part of your family?
Not ready to adopt me? How would you like to be my sponsor?! ABR's medical bills are at an all-time high and even a $5 donation can help take some of my cousins off the street, treat their wounds, and heal their hearts. Please think about a tax-deductible donation today!
