Unknown | This youngster is named Colt McCoy. He is a darling little 10 week old puppy who we have determined is deaf. His owner is surrendering him, because they don't have the time necessary to train a deaf puppy. Like most Boxers his age, he is a friendly, affectionate and playful little guy who just loves attention. Although he is deaf, he is very smart and has learned 'no' through signing. He currently lives in a home with other Boxers and is doing fine with them. Because of his youth and his deafness, we are reluctant to place him in a home with young children, as his energy will be high and he will need an investment of time in training and exercise. This little guy is ready to find his forever home where he can learn to thrive and be a beautiful, happy, well-trained Boxer!

Our next AUSTIN ADOPTION DAY will be Saturday, September 11th at TA Brown Elementary: 505 W. Anderson Lane from 9:30am-12:00pm. We can be found on the Southwest corner of the park, at the intersection of Guadalupe St and Northway Dr. - rain or shine

VOLUNTEER HAPPY HOUR
ABR is going to start having Happy Hours once a month to help bring our volunteers together. Our first happy hour will be September 16th at Doc's on South Congress from 5-7pm.

FOSTERS NEEDED
We need volunteers to help visit foster dogs until we can place them in their forever homes. Without fosters we can not accept dogs into our rescue. Please fill out our FOSTER APPLICATION if you are interested.
