Books is an adorable 1 yr old fawn male boxer. This boy found himself in a shelter where he was scheduled to be euthanized after being dumped off by his previous owner for unknown reasons. This boy is a total goober! He will run and play for hours and is bursting with energy and playfulness when outside in the yard. Books loves his boxer fosters and can’t get enough of the rough housing and goofing off time he gets with them both inside and out in the yard. On the other hand, when he’s inside he loves to cuddle up on the couch with his foster mom and his favorite little dog. This little dog happens to be a 5 lb Chihuahua. He absolutely adores her and plays so gently with her and seems to understand how large and strong he is in comparison to her. At night these babies cuddle up together and Books lays his head on her as if he’s protecting her. He does fantastic with other dogs of all sizes and is great with cats. Books is completely crate trained and housebroken. He is still heartworm positive and he is scheduled for heartworm treatment soon. He has not been in his foster home very long so he will likely need to go into a basic training class once adopted by his new family.
