No | Update: Bubba has been in his new foster home now for a little over a week and is doing well. He is crate and house trained, listens well and knows several commands including 'sit', 'stay', 'give paw', 'down', 'in crate' just to name a few. Bubba is very active and loves to run and play. He is also a very good kisser and would love to sit in your lap! Bubba is selective about his dog friends. He gets along with some but not all dogs, so we think it is best if he can be any only dog. He also needs to go to a cat free home. Bubba does not appear to have a lot of experience being around kids and can be a bit rough especially around young kids. Bubba is proving to be a sweet dog that just needs some time and attention. He would do fine in either a house or apartment setting.

Bubba is about 2 years old and should weigh about 65 lbs and is currently in foster with Hound Haven in San Antonio (www.HoundHaven.PetFinder.Com)
He is a great guy but can be quite alpha, so his new home will need to be very consistent with my training and discipline, and it would probably be best if he were an only dog or at least the only alpha and only male. Bubba chases livestock (that's what landed him in rescue), so should be kept completely away from horses and other farm animals. Other than that, I'm really a wonderful guy and will make someone a great forever pet. Read more here

VOLUNTEER HAPPY HOUR
ABR is going to start having Happy Hours once a month to help bring our volunteers together. Our first happy hour will be September 16th at Doc's on South Congress from 5-7pm.
