Austin Boxer Rescue

Our mission: To balance the health, safety, and welfare needs of canines in the Central Texas area by providing nourishment and a safe environment for unwanted, stray, abused, and impounded Boxers. Once placed in new homes they become more than just pets, they become family.

Austin Boxer Rescue receives dogs daily and the dog for you may not be posted on the website. ABR volunteers work hard to place the right dog with the right family and those people that have been approved will have the opportunity to meet dogs before they go onto the website. There are usually about 5-10 dogs in rescue that have not been posted.

Our next ADOPTION DAY will be Saturday, July 19th at Brown Elementary: 505 W. Anderson Lane from 9:30am-12pm. We can be found on the Southwest corner of the park, at the intersection of Guadalupe St and Northway Dr. - rain or shine. Map.
